Framed with conservation glass, The Forgotten Forest II is the second piece in this powerful series, which was exhibited and sold at the Royal Scottish Academy of Art’s 198th Annual Exhibition in Edinburgh. Is the forest vanishing or taking form? From behind the treetops, the snow-capped peak of Mt. Arthur emerges while a veil of TV static creeps in from the left symbolizing the potential dissolution of nature by technology. The artwork poses questions about whether technology harms nature or if nature adapts and rebuilds through cosmic microwaves and white noise, whispers from the universe's beginning.
